Announcement Regarding COVID-19 / Novel Coronavirus

At the Delray Center for Healing, the health and well-being of our patients is our paramount concern. With the recently reported cases of the novel coronavirus in Palm Beach and Broward Counties, the Delray Center will be taking measures to ensure the safety of both our patients and our staff, in accordance with the guidelines laid out by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for public institutions.

Questions to Consider

For any patient or patron visiting the Delray Center or any of our related programs, including our psychiatry office in Boca Raton, the Delray Center for Brain Science / TMS clinic, PFN Speedlab, and the Delray Center for Integrative Medicine / Ketamine infusion clinic, we will be providing screenings in order to prevent the spread of this disease. We ask that all new and existing patients, including psychiatry and therapy patients, prepare to answer the following questions:

• Have you had a diagnosis of COVID-19 / novel coronavirus?
• Have you traveled to China, Italy, Iran, or anywhere else in the last 30 days?
• Are you currently experiencing the symptoms of runny nose, sore throat, cough, fever, or difficulty breathing?
• Have you had exposure to anyone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19 / novel coronavirus in the last 30 days?
• Have you had exposure to anyone ill with coronavirus symptoms? For example, runny nose, sore throat, cough, fever, or difficulty breathing in the last 30 days?

If the answer is yes to any of the above questions, we ask the individual in question to be cleared medically by a physician. This is in order to determine that they do not carry the virus, are no longer in an infectious state, and are no longer exhibiting symptoms. We do this to make sure our patients are receiving the proper medical attention, and to ensure that the community at large is not under any threat of infection.

Sessions Cancelations do to Safety

In addition, all classes at our yoga studios, Bamboo Garden Yoga & Delray Aerial Yoga, have been cancelled until further notice. The Delray Center has also suspended our open SMART Recovery meetings for the foreseeable future. Our partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs will continue at this time, as will our core outpatient clinical services. Non-program patients will have the option of having phone sessions for their clinical care; please check with our office to see if your insurance covers telemedicine today.
